Art on Call

As you walk around Tenleytown, look for the eleven refurbished police and fire call boxes depicting elements of local history. In 2005, the Tenleytown Historical Society (THS) provided historical consultant services to the Tenleytown Neighbors Association (TNA) for TNA’s segment of the citywide Art-on-Call project. Paintings were done by local artist Lena Frumin. The Art-on-Call project is sponsored by Cultural Tourism, DC.
