Immaculata Seminary and Dunblane Historic District

The Immaculata Seminary Historic District sits on a knoll overlooking Tenley Circle on just over eight acres of land. It consists of four buildings that have now been incorpoated into American University’s Washington College of Law: the 1904 Immaculata Seminary school building, including its 1921 wing addition; the 1921 chapel connected to this addition but essentially independent from it; a circa 1839 manor house known as Dunblane, and a 1921 garage/laundry.

It became a designated historic district in 2014.
