These buildings have been listed on the DC Inventory of Historic Sites for their historic value, which provides them protection under DC historic preservation laws.

Dating from before the Civil War (The Rest) to the mid-20th century (Sears, Roebuck & Company), they demonstrate the historic significance of Tenleytown and provide a sense of continuity. A brief description is provided for each site.
