In the last few years THS has begun turning over its business and research materials to the American Univeristy Archives, where they will become accessible to researchers.
The records that have been transferred include the research materials used by THS for nominations of properties to the DC Inventory of Historic Sites.
The archived materials also include research materials of Judith Beck Helm used for her book, Tenleytown, D.C.: Country Village into City Neighborhood. Beck bequeathed her materials and rights to the book to THS.
Also included is a box of research materials on Reno City, recently donated to THS by scholar Alcione Amos.
