4605 Grant Road, NW Washington, D. C.

4605 Grant Road sits outside of the boundary of the Grant Road Historic District, but is of a similar age and Italianate style as several in the 4500 block. 

The 4600 block, which dead ends where Grant Road runs into Nebraska Avenue, was not included in the district.

The historic store that once sat at the corner of Grant Road and Brandywine was replaced by a mid-20th century home facing Brandywine, which interrupted the historic character of Grant Road’s last block.
